A recent intel report has warned of a strike in the Kashmir Valley by al-Qaeda commander Zakir Musa in collaboration with some Hizbul Mujahideen, who are currently hiding in Pulwama. According to the intel report, the duo met with each other in Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir on October 26, and are planning a subsequent attack in the Valley. It has also been learnt that three militants have crossed the Line of Control and reached Malikpura in Pulwama. On October 13, sources to Times Now that Pakistan had dispatched a fresh batch of 12 militants to destabilise Jammu and Kashmir. Group led by al-Qaeda commander Zakir Musa, are jointly planning a big strike, the intel report suggests. Zakir Musa, along with four members of his group, is believed to have met a group of 14 militants that have recently infiltrated into India in the upper reaches of Khan Saheb between Raiyar and Doodhpathri area of Jammu and Kashmir. This t group comprising all Pakistani nationals have infiltrated from Gulmarg area, reports state. Sources add that the terrorists conducted an hour-long meeting on October 9. This group, after infiltrating from the LoC near Gulmarg, entered Budgam belt via Aarizal forest. Zakir Musa has instructed this fresh batch of militants to keep changing their SIM cards and has asked them to avoid using their mobile since that will help security agencies pin them down. Two of the militants have been assigned with the task of targeting security forces near Nowgam and Panthachowk area on the outskirts of Srinagar. Zakir Musa is believed to be hiding somewhere in Khan Saheb area in Budgam. Security forces have been put on high alert after the inputs from intelligence agencies.
